This is our go to bakery for all celebrations! I couldn't be more impressed with their latest creation for Lunar New Year! Not to mention the cakes are delicious, highly recommend the cookie dough flavor.
Laura brought an array of her desserts to our 40th Class Reunion. They were all delicious, especially the cannolis. I'm hooked on the Blue Julep and can't wait to eat more of their homemade confections.
The Blue Julep is amazing!! We wanted to do something special for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. Sadly, we all live out of state, so couldn’t be there in person. The owner worked with me to not only create a custom cake flavor and decorated it exquisitely, but also helped me to get it delivered through a third party service. My grandparents LOVED it. They kept saying how nervous they were to cut into it because of how beautiful it was. But when they did, my grandmother said “I have never tasted a better cake than this”. So grateful for this business helping my grandparents feel special and loved. Great cakes that are obviously made with love and care.
Our cakes were amazing. Not only were they beautiful but tasted DELICIOUS! The Blue Julep never disappoints. They made our vision of our daughters’ first birthday cakes a reality. They also made the perfect gender reveal cupcakes for us.

If you’re ever having a bad day, trying to celebrate with a friend or loved one or just have a craving for something sweet, The Blue Julep is the place to order from! Their cupcakes are divine, the frosting and toppings are creamy and delicious and the cake itself is so moist and fluffy even people who only eat the frosting would love it. The presentation is excellent and you can tell the shop is truly grateful and appreciative for every cupcake sold, and they will be our go to for us in the future!
Their cakes are flavorful, moist, and beautiful! We hired Blue Julep to make our wedding cake and had a fantastic experience. Their flavors are so good that we had a hard time choosing our favorite for our wedding cake. Laura was able to answer all of my questions and did a great job replicating the inspiration photos I sent her. My husband and I ordered our wedding cake through The Blue Julep and it was nothing short of amazing. We ordered a vintage style, 2-tiered wedding cake and the flavor was lemon with a raspberry filling. We picked it up the Friday before our Saturday wedding, and it was very secure on the ride to our venue. We didn’t eat too much of it on our wedding night, but the rest is saved in our freezer for special occasions. The small piece we had was amazing!! Every guest loved our cake and wished they could cut themselves a piece because of how beautiful it was. We added a vintage cake plate under it, which fit perfectly!! We also added two swan figurines on the top which turned out amazing. I could not have imagined a more beautiful and lovely cake. Working with the team was easy, communicative, and professional. I would 100% reccomend working with The Blue Julep for any event!! Thank you so much!
Walked past this shop on my way to work and stopped in on my way back to the car. Got an Oreo and a Coconut Raspberry cupcake to share with my husband and my only regret was having to share! The flavors are spot on and the frosting is melt-in-your-mouth delicious (and I dont like frosting). I would absolutely order from them again! (Please forgive the squished look of the cupcakes, I dropped them. They looked picture perfect before then)
These cupcake transcend your soul to a delicious heaven. I have travelled and lived around the country, in major foodie cities like New York and Seattle. Before I had Blue Julep I would have said no cupcake is better than a slice of cake. These cupcakes however, are better than any dessert I’ve ever tasted! They are presented beautifully, a wonderful texture, depth of richness and flavor. They are perfection. Get these for your birthday party if you want to treat your guests. Get them for your partner if you want to show them how much you love them. Get them for yourself if you need a sweet treat to make your day amazing. The icing on the (cup)cake is that the staff are super kind and generous. A great local business.
